Short Term Business Solution

The HSE have introduced Fee for Intervention (FFI) in October 2012.  FFI means that where businesses are found to be in material breach of health and safety laws by an HSE inspector, the costs incurred by HSE in helping the business to put matters right will be charged to the business.   The current ’fee for intervention’ is £124 per hour (fees are exempt from VAT) and that's even if it’s just a letter or email.  Average costs are estimated in the region of £1500 per business.

Those businesses that are inspected but comply with the law will not have to pay, so it makes sense to ensure you are fully h&s compliant.

One quick solution is to have Bellatrix Health and Safety conduct a Safety Audit for your business.  The audit will involve an inspection of your premises and a review of your safety documentation that will determine your health and safety compliance, effectiveness and reliability of your existing management systems. From this you will receive a report of both our observations and recommendations for the future.
Why not call Bellatrix Health and Safety today for an informal, no obligation discussion to see how we can help your business.
